Context: This paper addresses the educational concepts of Fast-Food Education, also known as the McDonaldization of schools, and the concepts of Field Education. Methodology: Documentary research and fieldwork were conducted in Quilombo do Cacau, Belém - PA. Considerations: The results highlight the benefit and democratization of education through the positive impacts of Field Education in combating the commodification of education, which generates competition for productivity. It is understood that Field Education is harmonious, allowing students to learn in harmony with technologies and their local culture. On the other hand, Fast-Food Education is characterized by a more standardized and superficial teaching system. Therefore, it is concluded that there is a need for constant struggle and coordination against neoliberal education.
