Abstract

Context: When we enter the school space, we become familiar with the environment as well as with school staff, teachers, and students. This is of utmost importance so that we can develop in a complete and meaningful way, preparing ourselves for coexistence within schools. The observations made allow for an understanding of the school context and dynamics. Interviews were conducted with the team present in the school setting on a daily basis, such as the administration, secretariat, and cleaning and kitchen staff. Observations were also made in the vicinity and perimeter of Santos Dumont school, as well as in the geography class for the final years. Methodology: To enable a better understanding of the school universe, interviews and observations were conducted. The interviews were conducted with the team present in the school environment on a daily basis, while the observations were made in the vicinity and perimeter of Santos Dumont school, as well as in the geography class for the final years. Considerations: The act of observing and being inside the classroom creates personal relationships with everyone who is there, which is a turning point in education. These relationships and connections are important for complete and meaningful development in the school environment.
