Abstract

Context: The production of clean energy has been one of the main global pursuits in recent years. The bands of radiation, sent through sunlight, which can be captured by photovoltaic cells, which transform light into electrical energy, make the sun the most promising source for the electrical needs of human beings. The climate has considerable importance in capturing solar energy, as the efficiency of a cell system is directly related to local climate conditions. The objective of this short communication is to establish a relationship between the generation of electricity by means of photovoltaic cells and the meteorological, pollution, radiation and temperature elements of photovoltaic cells, in order to define the best conditions for increasing the efficiency of the cells, as well as provide a reduction in the emission of greenhouse gases. Methods: The methodology provides the measurement of electricity generation, the compilation of meteorological elements, CO2, UVA, UVB and plate temperature, the relationship between electricity generation and other parameters and the creation of scenarios for emission analysis of greenhouse gases. The expected results are the establishment of a relationship between the generation of electricity through photovoltaic cells and the parameters, as well as enabling the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions by expanding the use of this source and reducing energy generation. by hydroelectric and thermoelectric plants.
